FROOTY TREBLEZ
FROOTY TREBLEZ
Curating inclusive dance floors.
Built for us, by us.
Frooty Treblez is a Portland-based DJ who plays high-energy sets rooted in house music. He blends heavy club tracks with familiar pop cuts to create a continuous physical arc on the dance floor. Driven by a deep connection to movement and queer culture, his track selection has brought him from local undergrounds to major festival stages, tour support, and a studio production credit on Beyoncé and Madonna's Break My Soul (The Queens Remix).
His physical intuition behind the decks stems from an extensive background as a former professional dancer and competitive choreographer. Years of reading audiences from the stage gave him an inherent understanding of crowd mechanics, timing, and momentum. He now translates that deep knowledge of physical dynamics directly into his live music curation.
Holding a residency at Fever Dream, he frequently collaborates with productions including Klip Klop, [HOME], and BeautyBoiz. His distinct sound has led to major support slots, opening for Tinashe on her Match My Freak Tour and providing direct support for DJ Lady D at the Pride edition of Twirl. He has also made marquee appearances at Treefort Music Fest, Seattle PrideFest, and Portland Trail Blazers Pride Night. Across the West Coast, he has commanded rooms at notable venues such as SoHo House, Roseland Theater, Holocene, Kremwerk, and Fluid510.
Ultimately, a Frooty Treblez set is an intentional signal to the queer community that his dance floor is a space built for us, by us.
